Another grand ISKCON temple is going to be built in the capital Bhopal for the devotees of Lord Krishna. This new temple will be ready by 2028 at a cost of Rs 70 crore.
On Sunday, Vikas Swami Maharaj performed Bhoomi Pujan in Patel Nagar. This ISKCON temple under construction will be unique in many ways. This temple is going to be built on 150000 square feet of land. Common people can also cooperate in the construction of the temple. This will be the first stone-built temple of its kind in contemporary times, in which no RCC, cement or concrete will be used.
The temple will retain its glory for thousands of years to come. Stone from Bansi Paharpur of Rajasthan will be used in the construction of this new temple.
This will be the capacity
Sri Sri Gaur Radha Vallabh will sparkle in the temple. There are two satsang rooms in the temple premises in which more than 2000 devotees will be able to sit together and do kirtan and satsang. Prasadam room where 1000 devotees will be able to sit together and receive prasad. Brahmachari Ashram with the capacity to accommodate 150 celibates. With the capacity to make Prasad for 100000 devotees. There will be a modern kitchen spread over 6000 square feet. Apart from this, there will also be an auditorium, guest room and a Govinda restaurant for the Vedic exhibition.
