Rajahmundry Spt 12 (UNI) N Bhuvaneswari, the wife of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, here on Tuesday expressed concern over the security of her husband.
N Bhuvaneswari, along with her son Nara Lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmini, met Chandrababu Naidu in the Central Prison today. Talking to the media, she said that there was no adequate security for Naidu in the prison.
Stating that it is a tough time for her family, she called upon the TDP cadres to fight against the injustice. She said that her husband Chandrababu Naidu told her that he was doing well.
“I fear for his security. Officials said that all facilities and adequate security have been provided to him but those have not appeared in the prison. I think required security has not been provided to Naidu in the prison,” Bhavaneswari said.
Bhuvaneswari recalled that her father N T Rama Rao founded the Telugu Desam party and her family would continue to protect the party. “Naidu had striven to keep Andhra Pradesh state number one in progress during his tenure as Chief Minister. But now he is confined in the prison,” she lamented.
