Vijayawada, June 6 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12, party MLA said.
TDP Politburo member and MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary disclosed this to the media here on Thursday.
The Legislature party meeting would be held on June 11 to elect the leader, he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be invited to the swearing-in ceremony of Naidu, Butchaiah Chowdry said, adding that Naidu would also attend the Prime Minister’s swearing-in programme in Delhi on June 8.
The swearing-in programme would be held in the capital region Amaravati but the exact place is yet to be identified, a TDP leader informed.
