MP Danish Ali suspended from BSP for anti-party activities

Lucknow, Dec 9 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Lok Sabha MP from Amroha seat in Uttar Pradesh Kunwar Danish Ali was on Saturday suspended from the party for indulging into anti-party activities.

A letter in this regard has been sent to Danish Ali by BSP national general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra.

In the letter sent to Danish Ali, SC Mishra stated that on several occasions the MP was verbally asked not to issue a statement of indulgence in an action against the BSP’s policies, ideology, and discipline.

“But even after this, you have been indulging in anti-party activities,” he said.

Mishra said, “You are also informed that in 2018, you were working as members of the Janata Party-led HD Deve Gowda, during which period the BSP contested assembly elections in alliance with the Janata Party. After the results were announced, you were given a ticket from Amroha as a BSP candidate on the recommendation of Deve Gowda.”

He said, “At that time, Deve Gowda had assured me that you would remain dedicated to the policies of the BSP and would follow the instructions of the party high command. BSP sent Ali to the Lok Sabha on its ticket, but contrary to the assurance received from Deve Gowda, he remained involved in anti-party activities; hence, a decision had to be taken to suspend him.”
