Jait (MP), Nov 17 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his family exercised their franchise on Friday at their native village in Sehore district.
The senior BJP leader was flanked by his spouse Sadhna, sons Kartikey and Kunal at a polling centre set up within a government-run secondary school here.
“This day marks a great festival of democracy. The foremost appeal is to voters vis-à-vis definitely exercising their franchise,” the Chief Minister said during a subsequent interaction with media representatives.
Prior to casting his vote, Mr Chouhan offered worship at a local shrine dedicated to Lord Bajrangbali and also bowed to Goddess Narmada.
