Mamata to fly New Delhi to attend President Murmu’s dinner invitation during G20 meeting

Kolkata, Sep 8 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is slated to fly to New Delhi Friday afternoon to attend President Droupadi Murmu’s dinner invitation on the occasion of the G20 meeting on Saturday, sources here said on Friday.

Banerjee is likely to meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, with whom she has a very cordial relationship, at the sidelines of the event, they added.

Banerjee, who is expected to catch a flight around 3 PM for the national capital, would return to this city on September 10 and again to fly for Spain on September 12 with many captains of the industries to hold a roadshow to project Bengal as a favourable business investment destination for Europeans.

The 7th edition of the Bengal Global Business Summit is scheduled on November 21–22, 2023, in the city.
