Make industries self-reliant and profitable: CM

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that along with the setting up of industries efforts should also be made for their progress. He asked to make industries self-reliant and profitable. Co-ordinate with various departments to achieve this. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was reviewing the activities and action plans of the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department in the Mantralaya today.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that for the industrial development of areas like Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand, try to attract companies to set up industries as per local convenience.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that according to the availability of local produce like milk, soyabean, herbal and minor forest produce etc. in the state, a campaign should be launched to set up small units at the local level. Make a plan to encourage economically capable local industrialists to set up new industries in the district.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that in view of the future needs, plans should be made to establish industries in new areas through new railway tracks and waterways. Employment-centric industries should be set up along with machine based industries. Formulate policies according to the future prospects of the state and the needs of the industries. Make sure to give subsidies to industries on time.

The Chief Minister issued instructions to open regional offices of MPIDC in other divisions of the state. A new office of MPIDC will also be opened in Ujjain. This will promote industrialization in Ujjain, Neemuch, Ratlam and other districts.
