Pune, Oct 19 (UNI) A private training aircraft belonging to Redbird institute (Redbird Flight Training Academy) crashed in a farm land near Katfal Village in Baramati taluk of Maharashtra at around 5 pm on Thursday, officials said.
Prabhakar More, inspector, Baramati police station said that a woman pilot and a co-pilot, were on board and they sustained injuries in the crash. They have been rushed to a hospital, he said.
There are no reports of any other fatalities in the incident or the number of other persons on board.
The cause of the crash is not clear.
Pune Police and other agencies rushed to the spot for taking up investigation into the incident.
