Mumbai, Apr 12 (UNI) Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will address a election campaign rally at Bhandara-Gondia Lok Sabha Constituency on Saturday in support of party candidate Dr. Prashant Yadavrao Padole.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will also address an election campaign rally on Sunday at Nagpur, party sources said on Friday.
The campaigning for the first phase of the Lok Sabha election is going on in full swing and the campaign meetings of the senior leaders of the Congress party have also started.
A public meeting of Rahul Gandhi will be held in the Gajanan Maharaj temple grounds at Sakoli in Bhandara district.
Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole, Legislature Congress Party Leader Balasaheb Thorat, Opposition Leader Vijay Wadettiwar, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Chandra Pawar) State President Jayant Patil along with leaders of MVA will be present in the public meeting.
Congress President is going to address a public meeting at 4 PM at Chhambal Chowk in Nagpur on April 14.
This public meeting is being held to enlist support to the Congress Party candidate and MLA Vikas Thackeray in Nagpur Lok Sabha Constituency. Before this, Mallikarjun Kharge will visit Dikshabhumi in the morning on Sunday.
In five Lok Sabha constituencies in Vidarbha namely Nagpur, Ramtek, Bhandara-Godia, Gadchiroli-Chimur and Chandrapur, the first phase of polling will be held on April 19 and in all these constituencies Congress and MVA have taken the lead in campaigning.
