Liquor shops will remain closed on Holi and Rang Panchami

Liquor shops will remain closed in the district on the day of Holi and Rang Panchami. District Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh has declared March 25 and March 30 as dry days in the district. Bhang and Bhang Ghota shops will remain open on this day.

In view of the law and order situation of Bhopal district, the Collector has declared a dry day for the period from 5 pm on March 25 on Holi and till 5 pm on March 30 on the occasion of Rang Panchami. Under the order issued, during the dry day period, all the composite liquor shops units of the district, except Bhang and Bhang Ghota shops, FL-2, FL-3, FL-4, FL-6, FL-7, FL-10, 10A wine outlets and Retail and wholesale shops selling all types of liquors will remain closed. And local and foreign liquor stores will remain closed. All in-charge Assistant District Excise Officers and Sub-Inspectors should ensure that there is no buying and selling of liquor in the area under their influence.
