KKR’s Ramandeep Singh fined 20% of match fee

Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) In a recent development in the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Ramandeep Singh, representing the Kolkata Knight Riders, has been penalised for violating the IPL Code of Conduct during Match 60 against the Mumbai Indians at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday.

Ramandeep incurred a fine amounting to 20 percent of his match fees due to a breach classified as a Level 1 offence under Article 2.20 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Following the incident, Ramandeep acknowledged his transgression and willingly accepted the penalty imposed by the Match Referee.

The IPL Code of Conduct strictly regulates player behavior and any breaches thereof are subject to disciplinary actions. For Level 1 violations, the Match Referee’s decision stands as final and binding, underscoring the league’s commitment to upholding fair play and sportsmanship.
