Hyderabad, Feb 17 (UNI) Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy, disclosed that the Ministry of Railways has arranged special trains for the Sammakka Sarakka Medaram Jathara, scheduled to run from February 21 to 24.
Reddy in a statement said that, “These special trains aim to ease the transportation for devotees attending the Medaram Jathara.”
The special trains are Train 07017/07018: Sirpur Kagaznagar – Warangal – Sirpur Kagaznagar, Train 07014/07015: Warangal – Secunderabad – Warangal and Train 07019/0720: Nizamabad – Warangal – Nizamabad.
These trains will provide connectivity to major centers, including Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Bellampalli, Mancherial, Ramagundam, Peddapalli, Jammikunta, Bhongir, Jangaon, Ghanpur, Kammareddi, Manoharabad, Medchal, Aler, and other locations.
Reddy affirmed, “The Narendra Modi Government remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding and preserving tribal culture and traditions, focusing on the welfare of tribal communities.”
Additionally, apart from facilitating transportation through special trains for the Sammakka Sarakka Jathara, the Government of India will allocate Rs. three crores to support the conduct of the Medaram Jathara, demonstrating its dedication to the cultural and spiritual heritage of tribal communities, a statement added.
