Kejriwal should tell people how liquor scam happened: Malhotra

New Delhi, May 11 (UNI) BJP candidate from East Delhi Harsh Malhotra wants Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to explain to city voters how the CM committed the liquor scam.

Reacting to Kejriwal securing an interim bail from the Supreme Court to campaign in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Malhotra said: “Arvind Kejriwal was in jail for his involvement in the Delhi Excise Policy, and he is out on parole till June 1. I respect the court’s decision.”

“We too want him to campaign in these elections,” Malhotra added, saying: “He should explain to people how he committed the liquor scam. It doesn’t matter whether he is in jail now or not, because it is certain that he will be back in jail on June 2.”

Kejriwal was given bail on Friday only for campaigning purposes, he cannot perform any duty as a chief minister the SC bench has made it clear.
