Ahmedabad, Nov 19 (UNI) The Surya Kiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force(IAF) performed an air show ahead of the final match of the ODI World Cup 2023 which is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium here on Sunday.
The IAF’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic team performed a 10-minute show before the start of the mega finale. Prior to this, rehearsals of the aerobatic show were undertaken on Friday and Saturday.
The team demonstrated loop manoeuvres in victory formation, barrel roll, and the formation of various shapes in the sky for 10 minutes.
The Surya Kiran aerobatic team usually has nine aircraft, and has performed numerous airshows across the country.
The performances will continue during the first and second drinks break, and at the innings break as well.
During the first drinks break, Aditya Gadhvi will showcase his talent, and at the innings break Pritam Chakraborty, Jonita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz, Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh and Tushar Joshi will also perform.
A mesmerising international laser production will showcase the name of the victorious team along with the trophy, illuminating the Ahmedabad skies with over 1,200 lights.
Fireworks display will also mark the grand conclusion.
