Hyderabad: FTCCI to hold Conclave on GST & Globalisation on Feb 10

Hyderabad, Feb 2 (UNI) The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) is to organise a full-day “Conclave on GST and Globalisation” here on Saturday.

Telangana Deputy CM and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and the Minister for IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, were invited as chief guests. Dr. T. K. Sreedevi, Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, and Sandeep Prakash, Chief Commissioner of Customs and Central Tax, Hyderabad Zone, were guests of honour, the Federation said in a release. here on Thursday.

The CFOs and CEOs of prominent organisations from different business sectors will handle the sessions and panel discussions.

CEOs, CFOs, directors, managers, budding entrepreneurs, and other delegates are expected to participate.

GST was implemented in India as part of the “One Nation, One Tax.” idea and to increase tax system transparency. GST is a single tax. a system that many nations throughout the world have embraced.

This programme examines the evolution of this idea following the implementation of GST in the year 2017.
