Beirut, Aug 25 (UNI) Lebanese movement Hezbollah has begun retaliatory strikes for the Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut in late July, which killed senior commander Fuad Shukr, the movement’s press service said in a statement.
“Today, Sunday, August 25, as part of the initial response to the vile aggression in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which led to the death of commander Fuad Shukr and several of our respected citizens, Islamic resistance fighters launched a major air attack using UAVs deep inside the Zionist entity,” the statement says.
According to the statement, the target of the attack is a specific military facility, which will be announced later.
