Heatwave conditions likely in Telangana on Apr 1–2: Met

Hyderabad, Mar 31 (UNI) Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in the Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, and Mulugu districts of Telangana on April 1, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in the Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu districts of the state on April 2.

The maximum temperatures are likely to gradually rise by 2–3 degrees Celsius at isolated places in Telangana during the next 3 days.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the state during the next seven days.

Rain occurred at one or two places in Telangana during the last 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 41.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nizamabad on Saturday, the report added.
