Shobhana Bandopadhyay, General Manager of West Central Railway, held a review meeting with major department heads and divisional railway managers on Tuesday and laid emphasis on safety, punctuality and safe operation of trains.
Along with this, many topics like increase in income from freight transportation, review of infrastructure works, punctuality, business development were discussed.
Apart from this, topics like monitoring of Vande Bharat train, Gati Shakti multi model cargo terminal, goods shed upgradation work etc. were also discussed. The General Manager learned about the Capital Expenditure Plan of West Central Railway for planning, implementation and progress of ongoing projects and other developmental infrastructure works in West Central Railway.
