Girl abducted, sexually abused; accused held

On the complaint of a girl, the Entkhedi police station has registered a case against her friend for kidnapping and raping her in Dewas. The accused has been arrested.

Entkhedi police station in-charge Durjan Singh Barkade said that a 21-year-old girl living in the area has studied B.Sc. While studying, the girl was introduced to Shailendra Dubey, a young man living in her village. They also started talking on the phone. In the complaint, the girl told the police that on July 6, Shailendra had taken her to Dewas on the pretext of taking her for a ride. After keeping her in a house there, he raped her several times. On the other hand, when the girl went missing, her relatives had lodged a missing complaint in the police station. Along with his relatives, the police was also searching for her. The girl returned to her home on Monday. In the statement recorded in the police, she told that Shailendra had kept her confined in a house in Dewas. Raped her several times. On this basis, the police have registered a case against Shailendra under various sections and arrested him. The accused is a second year BA student.

Brother-in-law molested and threatened

In another incident on the complaint of a 29-year-old woman living near Saidiya School, Talaiya police station has registered a case of molestation and intimidation against her brother-in-law. According to the police, the woman told in her complaint that her brother-in-law had been keeping an evil eye on her for many days. On November 4, brother-in-law did obscene acts with her. Threatened to kill if he protested. The woman reached the police station on Monday afternoon and lodged a complaint. Police is searching for the accused.
