– We will accept the guarantee only when we see changes on the ground: Congress
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Umang Singhar said that Congress does not support this interim budget. BJP says that Modi’s guarantees are being fulfilled, but we do not see any guarantee in full. We will accept it only when we see some change on the ground. The announcements do not seem to be being fulfilled. Regarding the notice of the Income Tax Department, Singhar said angrily that why answers of five years ago are being sought from the Congress leaders today. Elections have come, so politics is being done to create pressure. Why not ask for answers in five years? The BJP government is blackmailing Congress leaders through the IT department. Deputy Leader of Opposition Hemant Katare said that when only 58 percent of the budget for 2023-24 has been spent and 42 percent of the budget is outstanding, then why does it want to impose new debt on Madhya Pradesh? In such a situation, we cannot support this vote on account.
