Four tourists stabbed in China’s Jilin City: Social media

Beijing, (UNI) Four tourists, including from the West, were stabbed in Beishan Park, in China’s Jilin City, according to a viral video on social media showing the four people lying on the ground with blood oozing from their sides.

One of the tourists is seen lying on his right side, with his T-shirt on the left side soaked in blood. Another tourist, in a blue T-shirt, is seen lying on his left side, and placing his right hand on the knife wound in his hip. He is seen trying to dial someone on the mobile with his free hand and speak.

Bystanders are seen crowding around the wounded persons. In some videos the Chinese security staff with first-aid kits are seen tending to the wounded.

There has been no official confirmation of the incident so far.

Beishan Park is located in Chuanying district of Jilin City, and boasts of a temple and beautiful natural scenery. It is known as the “sacred ground of nine dragons” and has a history of over 300 years. It was originally called Jiulong Mountain (Nine Dragon Mountain).
