Fire breaks out at Delhi’s Azadpur mandi

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) A fire broke out at a tomato market in Azadpur Mandi here on Friday, Delhi Fire Service Official said.

According to DFS, it received a call at around 17:17 hours about a fire incident inside the mandi in Delhi’s northwest district.

Responding to the call, a total 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.

The fire was brought under control and a cooling process was underway, a senior official of DFS said.

Casualty or anyone trapped was not reported in the fire incident so far.

“A total of 10 fire tenders were sent to the site considering the congested area. Fire was under control within half an hour and no casualty has been reported so far,” said Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Services.
