  • Police post to be opened in Barodia Nonagir, says Dr Yadav, meets victim’s family

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today, expressed grief over the Barodia Nonagir incident and said that we will endeavour to ensure that such incidents do not happen. The state government stands with the victim’s family. With such incidents being a regular affair, a police post will be opened here. While ensuring police management in the area, elders will also be taken into confidence. The loss of life and property is a matter of concern. I am with the bereaved family in this hour of immense grief. An impartial investigation is being conducted into the incident. Such a tragic incident should not be politicized.

Financial assistance to victim’s family

CM Dr. Yadav said that financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh 25 thousand will be provided to the family of deceased Late Shri Rajendra Ahirwar. On the basis of post mortem report, half the amount of Rs 4 lakh 12 thousand 500 will be deposited in the bank account. The remaining half amount will be given on presentation of the challan.

Dr. Yadav visited Barodia Nonagir of Khurai tehsil of Sagar district to console Ahirwar family in which Shri Rajendra Ahirwar and his niece Anjana Ahirwar were killed in the incident. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the house of Shri Pappu Rajak and met his family.

Rahul had also targeted BJP

Last year, a Dalit youth was beaten to death in Barodia Nonagir village and now the youth’s uncle and sister have also died. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP government and Narendra Modi. Congress leaders Digivijaya Singh and Jitu Patwari also met victim’s family.

CM Yadav emphasized the importance of swift administrative action to prevent such incidents from recurring. He said, ‘I extend my sympathy to the family of the deceased. The establishment of a police post in the area is essential to prevent future occurrences.’
