Dy CM launches Dastak campaign

  • Weeklong door-to-door campaign will be conducted

Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla launched the state-level “Dastak cum Stop Diarrhea” campaign in Bhopal on Tuesday. He said that the staff of the Health Department will have to work with full dedication to take Madhya Pradesh to the top level in various parameters of health in Madhya Pradesh like IMR, MMR, CMR etc. Shukla said that this campaign for the health protection of the children will have to be made a mass movement and participation of the community will have to be ensured.

Deputy CM Shukla said that there is no shortage of resources in health services. 30 thousand posts will be recruited in the Health Department in the next 6 months. We are constantly striving to ensure access and availability of quality services to every citizen of Madhya Pradesh, every area.

The Deputy CM has appealed that medical professionals should think about providing their services in rural areas. Continuous brainstorming is being done at the departmental level for the necessary facilities and availability of facilities is being ensured.

Released public awareness material

Shukla released public awareness material related to the campaign. In the program, a documentary film based on the activities and achievements of Dastak Abhiyan was screened. Minister of State for Health and Medical Education Narendra Shivaji Patel, MD NHM Smt. Priyanka Das, Director IEC Smt. Rachna Dubey, Director Women and Child Health Smt. Aruna Kumar, Chief Medical and Health Officers of all districts and departmental officers were present.

Children’s health is important

Minister of State for Health and Medical Education Narendra Shivaji Patel said that children’s health is very important for building a healthy India. State Minister Patel directed to provide quality training to the field staff for the success of the campaign.

MD NHM Smt. Priyanka Das gave detailed information about the activities, preparations and action plan to be done in the Dastak Abhiyan.
