- Review of Ramganj Mandi-Bhopal rail line

Divisional Commissioner Bhopal Dr. Pawan Sharma reviewed the progress of works on the under-construction Naveen Ramganj Mandi-Bhopal broad gauge railway line with collectors and senior railway officials through video conference on Tuesday.
While reviewing, the Divisional Commissioner, in coordination with the Railways and the Collectors of Bhopal, Sehore and Rajgarh, has given instructions to resolve all the points and work at a fast pace. The Divisional Commissioner reviewed district-wise the current status of private land acquisition as well as the latest status of allotment of revenue land.
Dr. Sharma asked the collectors to ensure payment of the amount awarded to the stakeholders in the private land which has been acquired in the next seven days.
He instructed to transfer the land acquired from the Collectors in favor of the concerned Railway Board.
Commissioner Dr. Sharma has given instructions to finish the work of power line shifting etc. with the power distribution company by holding a joint meeting of the railway officials. He has also asked the railway officials to keep in constant touch with the district administration and get the problems faced in the construction works resolved.
He has given instructions to hold a meeting every month to complete the work in time. Officers of other departments including Collector Sehore Praveen Singh and Rajgarh Collector Harsh Dixit along with Chief Project Manager Western Railway Vijay Pandey were present in the meeting held through VC.
