Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan said that the distribution of Voter Information Slip (Voter Slip) has started in the state. For the first time, voter information slips with QR code are being distributed to all the voters of the state. Through the Voter Information Slip with QR code, voters will be able to get important information like their polling booth number, state and district helpline number. The distribution of voter information slips under Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election-2023 has started from November 7. This work will continue till November 12.
Media Certification Committee certifies 542 advertisements
It is mandatory for the political parties to get their advertisements and other campaign materials certified in the Assembly Elections-2023. For this work, a state-level media certification committee has been constituted in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer. When national and regional political parties recognised by this committee apply for attestation of advertisements and other campaign materials, attestation is given by following the prescribed procedure.
A total of 542 advertisements have been certified by the committee from October 11 to November 8.
