Debriefing of officers returning from foreign trip held

  • Mid Career Training Program starts from 26 October

The debriefing session of the State Police Service officers who went on a foreign trip under the Mid Career Training Program was held at the Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of Director General of Police Kailash Makwana. ADG Training Sonali Mishra and PSO to DGP DIG Vineet Kapoor, Staff Officer Malay Jain, Superintendent of Police PTS Pachmarhi Nimisha Pandey and officials of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy were present in the program. The program for 27 State Police Service officers of Madhya Pradesh Police started on October 26, which concluded on Sunday. During the review, Pranjali Shukla, Vijay Dabar, Rameshwar Yadav, Neetu Thakur, Praveen Mandloi, Sandeep Bhuria gave presentations on their experience during training at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, National Law University Delhi, Cambridge University and London School of Economics. All the participants were also given projects for improvement in their field. These were also presented. Additional Director General of Police Training Sonali Mishra explained the outline of the entire training. Since 2019, 111 additional superintendents of police have taken training in MCTP in the UK.

Police stations should be made accountable

Director General of Police Kailash Makwana said that we have to ensure how to make police stations more accountable so that our policemen can be more sensitive towards the general public and make service delivery more effective. We can further improve the image of the department. He also emphasized that attention should also be paid to how we can make the work disposal quick and effective by taking the best practices to the lower level through daily functioning.
