Ranchi, Feb 3 (UNI) A special court in Ranchi on Saturday allowed former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to participate in the trust vote in the Legislative Assembly on February 5.
Special Judge Dinesh Rai has allowed Hemant Soren to be present in the assembly at 11:00 am on Monday during the trust vote, after hearing arguments from both sides.
State Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan and advocate Pradeep Chandra argued on behalf of Hemant Soren.
During the arguments, the court was informed that the state Governor has fixed the time for the trust vote of the Champai Soren government at 11:00 am on February 5.
Hemant Soren is currently in ED custody, so he should be allowed to be present during the trust vote in the assembly session.
The court, after hearing arguments from both sides, allowed Hemant Soren to be present during the trust vote in the Assembly.
