Country has faith in Modi’s guarantee: PM

Ayodhya (UP), Dec 30 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said today the country has so much faith in Modi’s guarantee because he leaves no stone unturned in fulfilling the guarantee he gives.

While addressing a rally after inaugurating Maharishi Valmiki International Airport and launching 46 projects of Rs 15,700 crore, the PM said, “Nowadays people ask me how there is so much strength in the guarantees of Modi. The guarantees have so much power because Modi does what he says and he leaves no stone unturned in fulfilling them.”

He said that the city of Ayodhya is a witness to this. “I assure the people of Ayodhya that we will leave no stone unturned in the development of this holy place,” he said.

Modi said that during his Ayodhya visit he got a chance to meet the 10th beneficiary of Ujjwala scheme. “This scheme has changed the lives of lakhs and crores of mothers and sisters in the country. No one imagines that the scheme will reach this height of benefit when it was launched from Ballia on May 1, 2016,” he said.

He said that the process of issuing gas connections started around seven decades earlier. “But by 2014 situation was so that only 14 crore connections were released. In the last one decade our government has released 18 crore connections out of which 10 lakh connections have been released free of cost under Ujjawala scheme. When there is feeling and intention to serve the poor, work is done in this manner and results like this are achieved,” he said.

While referring to the Pran Pratisha ceremony in the newly constructed Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya, the PM said that today the entire world is eagerly waiting for the historic moment of January 22. “In such a situation, this enthusiasm among the people of Ayodhya is very natural. This historical moment has come into our lives after much fate,” he said.

He said that while today the development is visible in Ayodhya, after a few days the grandeur and divinity of the heritage is going to be visible. He said that only the shared strength of development and heritage will take India to the forefront in the 21st century.

Modi said that the historic moment of January 22 is going to come in our lives with great luck. He appealed to 140 crore citizens that they should not try to come to Ayodhya on January 22, instead when Lord Shri Ram is seated in Ayodhya, everyone should celebrate Diwali and light Shri Ram Jyoti in their homes.

He appealed that when we have waited for five hundred and fifty years, we will have to wait for a few more days. “From the point of view of security and order, do not be hasty in coming to Ayodhya because now the temple of Shri Ram will remain here for eternity,” he said.

The PM also urged the people of Ayodhya to make the city number one in cleanliness as they were gearing up to welcome countless guests from the country and the world. “Now lakhs of people will continue to come here till eternity. In such a situation, the people of Ayodhya will have to take a pledge to make Ayodhya city the cleanest city of India,” he said.

At the same time, he urged all the pilgrimage sites and all small and big temples of the country to run cleanliness campaigns from January 14 to January 22. He said that Lord Ram belongs to the entire country, when he is coming, there should not be any filth around any of our temples or pilgrimage places.

Modi said that the construction work being carried out in Ayodhya will make the visit of every Ram Bhakt easy. “The development works launched here will once again establish the modern Ayodhya on the map of the country,” he said.

The PM said that the campaign to speed up the construction of a developed India is getting new energy from the city of Ayodhya. He said that if any country in the world wants to reach new heights of development, it will have to take care of its heritage.

He said, “Our heritage inspires us. Shows us the right path. Today’s India is moving forward by assimilating the old and the new. There was a time when Ram Lala was sitting in a tent in Ayodhya. Today, not only Ram Lala has got a permanent house but also 4 crore poor people of the country have got a house of their own.”

Modi said, “While India is beautifying its pilgrimages, it is also overshadowing the world in digital technology. Along with the reconstruction of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, more than 30,000 Panchayat buildings are also being constructed. Not only the revival of Kedar Dham, more than 300 medical colleges have also been built in the country. Not only Mahakal Lok is being constructed, but more than two lakh tanks for clean drinking water were also constructed. On one hand we are measuring the distance between the moon and the sun, while on the other hand we are bringing our mythological idols back to India.”
