Bhopal: A case of rape of a 22-year-old college student living in Piplani area has come to light. The accused is her relative from Bihar, who came to Bhopal and took her to a hotel and raped her. Even later, he continued to physically exploit her after issuing threats of defaming her. Ultimately, being upset with his actions, the student complained about him in the police station. Now, the police is expected to soon arrest the accused.
According to the police, the 22-year-old girl is a third year B.Sc. student. She is originally from Bihar. Four years ago she had gone to Bihar to attend a wedding ceremony. Here he met a youth named Deepak Tiwari. He had also come to attend the same wedding.
When the two recognized each other, Deepak took the girl’s mobile number. Later a conversation started between the two. About two years later, in March 2022, Deepak came to Bhopal to meet the girl. He took her to a hotel on the pretext of taking her for a tour. Here he raped the girl. After committing atrocities he returned back to Bihar. After a few days, he came back to Bhopal and started living in a rented house in Anand Nagar area. He had physical relations with the girl several times by threatening to defame her among the relatives. Later he vacated the rented room and went away. Later he started harassing the student. Frustrated with this, he complained. The police have registered an FIR and started searching for the accused.
The student victim of rape told the police that the accused had started blackmailing her for having a relationship. He had taken 90 thousand rupees from her and was demanding more money. When she refused, the accused got her video and photo circulated on different mediums of internet media.
