Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, along with senior citizens of the state, visited Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh recently.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while discussing with reporters at the State Hangar on Saturday after returning from Ayodhya Dham on Friday, said that he had the good fortune to reach Ayodhya Dham and have darshan of Lord Ramlala. After the decision of the Supreme Court, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ram Janmabhoomi Trust have provided a wonderful opportunity to see Lord Shri Ram by consecrating him in Ayodhya. Lord Shri Ram is smiling in his abode. This is a struggle of five hundred years.
The Chief Minister said that about two thousand years ago, Emperor Vikramaditya of Ujjain had done many construction works in Ayodhya. He said that Madhya Pradesh has an almost two thousand years old relation with Ayodhya. The temple of pillars with 84 pillars, which was demolished by the invaders five hundred years ago, has once again become a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram.
Former Rajya Sabha MP Raghunandan Sharma, Narayan Kesari, senior social worker Om Mehta and senior journalist Ramesh Sharma had gone to Ayodhya along with Dr. Yadav. Dr. Yadav reached Ramayanam Ashram in Ayodhya and also paid a courtesy visit to Mandakini Didi.
The Chief Minister said that once he had gone to Ayodhya with his cabinet colleagues for darshan. Only then it was decided that such arrangements would be made that people from all the districts of the state should go to Ayodhya and have darshan. He also said that plans are being made so that people from other states also come to visit the major religious places of the state.
