CM dedicates multiple projects in Amarkantak

  • Construction works worth over Rs 55 crore launched

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav marked the occasion of Narmada Jayanti by visiting the origin of the Narmada river in Amarkantak, Anuppur district. He offered prayers to Maa Narmada, seeking the well-being and prosperity of the state’s citizens.

Chief Minister dedicated 11 construction works related to various departments of Anuppur district including Sewerage Treatment Plant in Amarkantak. Rs 55 crore 24 lakh have been spent on these construction works.

The works that Chief Minister dedicated include bridge constructed on Chaidar drain of Kotma-Nigwani-Bijuri road at a cost of Rs 306.66 lakh, bridge on Latguda drain of Kotma-Nigwani-Bijuri road at a cost of Rs 240.29 lakh, bridge on Hasiyan Nala on Jaithari- Seoni-Semarwar road at a cost of 1083.79 lakh, bridge on Son River (Mahuda Ghat) on Rajendragram-Jaithari-Kotma road at a cost of Rs 898.33 lakh, sewerage treatment plant built at a cost of Rs 2115 lakh under Urban Administration and Development Department (Office of Municipal Council Amarkantak).

Other projects launched on the occasion included a 10-room Government Higher Secondary School, Beldongri built at a cost of Rs. 376.26 lakh and Tribal Senior Girls Hostel Jaithari built at a cost of Rs 403.68 lakh under the Tribal Affairs Department, Block Public Health Unit built at Community Health Center Kotma at a cost of Rs 50 lakh and the Block Public Health Unit built at Community Health Center Pushparajgarh at a cost of Rs 50 lakh under the Health Department.

CM participated in various rituals

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in various rituals. He performed kanya pujan, participated in bhandara andĀ also offered his services in the Bhandara Prasad Rasoi.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) Cottage and Village Industries Dilip Jaiswal, Chairman Madhya Pradesh Coal Development Authority Ramlal Rautel, Commissioner Shahdol Division Gopal Chandra Dad, ADGP DC Sagar, DIG Sushri Savita Sohne, Collector Ashish Vashishtha, Police Superintendent Jitendra Singh, social worker Ramdaspuri, public representatives and administrative officers.
