Children get admission in pvt schools through RTE lottery

Bhopal; School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh has said that the new education policy is being implemented effectively in Madhya Pradesh. In the new education policy, every child of the state will be provided quality education. School Education Minister Singh was addressing the parents present at the district headquarters today after inaugurating the online lottery for free admission in private schools under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act-2009 at the Mantralaya. The programme was also telecast live on the YouTube channel of the State Education Centre. The School Education Minister transferred the amount of uniform amounting to about Rs. 137 crore to the bank accounts of 33 lakh students of 30 districts through a single click. On this occasion, the mobile app prepared for the Ullas program of the School Education Department was also launched.

In this programme also, admission cards have been provided to about 1 lakh 25 thousand children in private schools using advanced technology. Director S. Dhanaraju said that the online process has been started in the state from the year 2016-17. In this process, parents are being provided the facility of admission of their children in good private schools in their neighbourhood. Complete transparency has been maintained in the process.
