CEO flags off special promotional vehicles

  • To raise awareness to boost voter turnout

Bhopal : Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan flagged off 75 special campaign vehicles prepared for voter awareness from Nirvachan Sadan, Bhopal on Wednesday. Shri Rajan said that in the Assembly Elections-2023, the voting percentage in 75 assembly constituencies of 26 districts of the state was less than 75 percent. These special awareness vehicles have been prepared to increase the voting percentage in these 75 assembly constituencies.

Voters will be motivated to exercise their franchise by showing banners, posters, slogans, voter awareness songs, reels, videos etc. through Plasma TV in these vehicles. These campaign vehicles will stay in the respective assembly constituencies during the next one month (Lok Sabha Elections-2024) and reach out to the maximum population and motivate them for voting.

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Kumar Kaul, Joint CEO Basant Kurre, Manoj Khatri, Tarun Rathi and Vivek Shrotriya, Collector and District Election Officer, Bhopal Kaushalendra Vikram Singh and other officers were present.

Campaign vehicles sent to these dists

CEO Rajan said that these promotional vehicles will be deployed in 26 districts respectively: Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Guna, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Katni, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Dewas, Khandwa, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain and Ratlam have been sent.
