Case filed against Digvijaya regarding Kundalpur incident

Bhopal: Kotwali police station of Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, has started investigating the case by registering an FIR against former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh in connection with a post made on social media regarding the famous Jain pilgrimage site Kundalpur.

According to police sources, a memorandum regarding this matter was submitted to the Superintendent of Police by Hindu organizations. After this, last night the Kotwali police station registered a case against former Chief Minister Singh under various sections. Actually, Singh posted a post on X regarding the famous Jain pilgrimage site Kundalpur, after which the matter was investigated by the administration, in which no incident was found to have taken place.

Regarding the FIR lodged against senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh over a social media post related to Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district, Bharatiya Janata Party State President and Lok Sabha MP Vishnudutt Sharma today said that Mr. Singh is a habitual political criminal and social media Platform X is requested to suspend his account.

Sharma told reporters that Singh continuously broadcasts false information through his social media account to spoil the atmosphere of the country and the state. It comes under the category of crime. He is spoiling the atmosphere of the society.

He said that the Jain temple in Kundeshwar is the center of faith of every class, about which Mr. Singh spread lies. Some time ago he circulated a video related to a mosque in Khargone, while it was from some other place. In this way, spoiling religious sentiments, spreading social hatred and serving falsehood in the society, this is the tendency of a habitual criminal.

He requested that the court should also direct in this regard because the Congress does not have any issue, so at the behest of Kamal Nath, Mr. Singh will work to spoil the atmosphere in the society by spreading lies.
