Bhopal: A case of theft has come to light in a clothes shop in Katara Hills area of the capital on Sunday night. The accused broke the locks of the shop and took away school uniform clothes and some stitched uniforms. An FIR has been registered on the complaint of the shop owner on Monday. Police is investigating the matter. In the initial investigation, people around the spot and close to the shop are being questioned. The stolen goods are said to be worth around Rs 1 lakh.
According to Katara Hills Police, Brijesh Pal, resident of Katara Hills, has a clothes shop in Laharpur. He had closed the shop on the night of April 7 and gone home, during which an unknown miscreant broke the locks of his shop and ransacked the shop. There were 12 stitched uniforms of school children kept in the shop, the miscreants stole those school uniforms also. Brijesh Pal came to know about the theft when he came to the shop on April 8 and he went to the police station and lodged a written complaint about the entire matter. After registering the case, the police have interrogated about six people from nearby areas.
10 vehicles stolen in 48 hours
There have been continuous incidents of vehicle theft in the last 48 hours. About ten vehicles were stolen from different parts of the city by unknown vehicle thieves. Vehicles have been stolen from TT Nagar, Kamla Nagar, Govindpura, Piplani, Katara Hills, Kotwali, Koh-e-fiza, Bagsevania, Nishatpura and Bairagarh. No clue has been found regarding these thefts. This is the situation when flag marches are being held every day at the police station level in the city.
