BSNL MP Circle to launch Swadeshi 4 G services

Bhopal: BSNL Madhya Pradesh Division Acting Chief GM has greeted residents of state as well as officers and employees on the occasion of World Telecom Day on May 17. He said that the subject of this year’s Telecom Day is Digital Innovation for Continuous Development.

CGM said as per government’s intention of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the BSNL MP Circle is also going to launch fully Swadeshi 4 G services based on 4 G technology. In this sequence 4G services are being provided in the state through about 4400 towers in the state. Currently 500 towers have been installed and the testing is in progress. Soon all the people of the state will get economical 4 G services. BSNL is providing 4 G sims free of cost in place of 2G and 3 G sims. Consumers can exchange sims at retail outlets free of cost.

Under another ambitious project 1500 additional towers will be installed and BSNL will provide 4G services in rural areas where they are not available. A total of 1245 towers have already been installed and 4G services will start soon in rural areas.

Besides landline connections are also being converted into ultramodern FTH connections with high speed internet facility. The  broadband and mobile plans of BSNL are economical compared to other private operators.

The CGM also cautioned the consumers about cyber crimes and frauds. In case of any cyber crime or fraud inform at helpline number 1930 or register complaint at www.cybercrime.gov.in
