Bhopal, A grand Chhath Puja was organized by the Bhojpuri Utsav Samiti Khatlapura at Bhopal’s oldest Chhath Ghat Khatlapura. Thousands of Chhath devotees offered prayers to the rising sun and worshiped Chhath Maiya and wished for the happiness of the family and the country.
On the occasion, Bhojpuri artists mesmerized all the devotees by presenting the hymns of Chhath Maiya. Bhopal MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who was the chief guest in the program, said that Chhath is now celebrated not only in India but also in other countries of the world. Now no one can stop India from becoming a world leader. On this occasion, committee chairman Rahul Dubey honored the guests. Samiti’s board of patrons Vinod Singh, DS Shukla, secretary Pankaj Thakur, Ram Pratap Singh, Santosh Singh, Keshav Rajput, Shatrughan Yadav, Manoj Mehra etc. were present. The program was conducted by Secretary Pankaj Thakur. Grand fireworks and lamp donation were also the center of attraction.
