Assembly Poll : Rahul assures Mine workers to address their issues if party comes to power

Peddapally (Telangana), Oct 29 (UNI) Former AICC President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday pledged to address the issues of Telangana Coal Mine workers if the party is elected to power in the November 30 Assembly election in the state.

During his two-day padayatra, Rahul interacted with coal mine workers here.

He met Singareni workers in Ladanapur village near here, and engaged in nearly a 20-minute conversation with them during which he assured to address their issues if Congress is elected to power.

The workers requested the Wayanad MP to stop the privatization of coal mines.

Additionally, on winning the Assembly poll, Gandhi has vowed to grant income tax exemptions to Singareni workers and support the growth of the Singareni mines.
