New Delhi, June 7 (UNI) Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi on Friday backed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he will never leave the alliance.
Addressing the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting held at Parliament House here, Manjhi said his party will always remain in the NDA and will support Modi.
“We are the family members of Mountain man Dashrath Manjhi ji; we will not leave Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and the NDA at any cost; we will always stand with them rock solid,” he said.
Manjhi said Narendra Modi is people’s leader and the leader of all of us, and he will remain so.
The Mountain man from Gehlaur village, near Gaya, Bihar, chiselled a path through a mountain that took 22 years of his life after his wife died in a fall from the same mountain. She couldn’t reach hospital on time as the mountain blocked quick access.
