AP CM compromised with Centre due to his corruption cases: alleges Rahul

Kadapa, May 11 (UNI) Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has compromised with the BJP led government at the centre due to his corruption cases.

Addressing an election meeting flanked by APCC President YS Sharmila here on Saturday, the Wayanad MP said that the AP is being run by a ‘B’ team, stating that B’ for ‘Babu’ (Chandrababu Naidu), ‘J’ for ‘Jagan’ and ‘P’ for ‘Pawan Kalyan’ (Jana Sena President).

The remote control of Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan Mohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan is in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is controlling the CBI and the ED, he stated.

The three leaders compromised the self respect of AP to the BJP, he criticized.

Gandhi slammed that the BJP led Centre wants to revamp the Indian Constitution and vowed to protect the Constitution. He made it clear that the Congress party has nothing to do in including the name of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy in the CBI’s FIR.

He said that Rajasekhara Reddy opposed BJP his lifelong but his son Jagan Mohan Reddy surrendered to the BJP.

The Congress leader disclosed that ‘he drew inspiration to take out Bharat Jodo yatra from YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s marathon padayatra’.

Rahul assured of granting Special Category Status (SCS) to AP for 10 years, establishing steel factory in Kadapa and completing the construction of Polavaram project, if voted to power.

The former AICC President assured of implementing Rs 2 lakh loan waiver, providing free education from KG to PG, filling up of 2.25 lakh vacant posts and extending Rs 1 lakh to all eligible women, if the Congress is voted power.

He called upon the voters to elect YS Sharmila to Lok Sabha from Kadapa constituency.

Speaking on the Occasion, APCC President YS Sharmila said that most of the AP Reorganisation 2014 Act provisions had not been implemented so far. The Chief Minister didn’t exert pressure on the Centre for SCS and compromised the state interests, she slammed.

Chandrababu Naidu assured of constructing Singapore type capital city but could not do and Jagan Mohan Reddy has adopted three capital cities concept but these two leaders made AP a capitaless state, she regretted.

She wooed voters to elect her to Lok Sabha. Karnataka deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar was among those who were present.
