Bhopal, Aug 20 (UNI) Union Home Affairs and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah arrived on Sunday in the Madhya Pradesh capital thereby commencing a day’s visit of the state.
The dignitary – who was on board a special plane – was received at the State Hangar by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Home Minister Narottam Mishra and others; it was officially learnt.
Mr Shah’s convoy then departed for the Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium where he will release the Madhya Pradesh dispensation’s ‘report card’.
The central leader shall subsequently leave for Gwalior for the purpose of participating in the state BJP Working Committee meeting.
