Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has declared a holiday on January 22 in all the schools and colleges of the state due to the Ram Pratishtha program in Ayodhya. The Higher Education Department has also issued a notification and announced holidays in colleges. Meanwhile, on Thursday, notice of a half-day holiday was issued in the government offices of Madhya Pradesh, after which there was confusion regarding the holiday in schools and colleges. Principals of many schools had talked about opening schools and colleges.
Mohan government has decided to give holiday on January 22 on the occasion of consecration of Shri Ramlala in Ram temple in Ayodhya. The General Administration Department issued this order late Thursday night. The holiday in government offices will remain till 2.30 pm.
It is noteworthy that the government is organizing many programs on the occasion of Pran Pratistha. The Chief Minister himself will stay in Orchha.
