AAP takes out bike rally in Delhi ahead of Lok Sabha polls

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a bike rally on Thursday as part of its ‘Jail ka Jawab, Vote Se’ campaign to garner support for the jailed party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ahead of Lok Sabha election.

Heading the rally, accompanied by a large contingent of workers, AAP and INDIA alliance candidate from the East Delhi Lok Sabha seat Kuldeep Kumar alleged,”BJP has done nothing in Delhi besides arresting CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. This has resulted in widespread discontent among the people of Delhi.”

Promising a resolute response, Kumar said,”The public will vote against the BJP on May 25.”

He expressed confidence in INDIA alliance’s victory on all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

“We are going among the people to seek their blessings through bike rallies, road shows and door-to-door campaigns. Our effort is to appeal to every voter for votes. The BJP has wasted 10 years of the people of Delhi and betrayed them. Now people want to take revenge. In this election, they will vote for their son Arvind Kejriwal,” he said.

“The blessings of Bajrang Bali are with Arvind Kejriwal. There can be delay, but not injustice. God is with him; truth and honesty will prevail,” he affirmed.

A bike rally was held in Laxmi Nagar. Supporters took out a rally with “AAP” flags and posters of ‘Jail ka jawaab, Vote se’ on bikes and contacted people.

During his visit to the area, Kuldeep Kumar went to the shops and interacted with people and appealed for votes.

On the campaign being run by the AAP, he said, “We have to tell people about the situation in the country and Delhi. We have to tell them how their popular Chief Minister was put in jail through a conspiracy. The people of Delhi are with Shri Arvind Kejriwal. They want to take revenge for his arrest.”
