6 terrorists die in clash with SFs in NW Pak

Islamabad, Feb 29 (UNI) Six terrorists were killed during a clash with security forces in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said.

The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the north Waziristan district of the province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said in a statement late Wednesday.

“During the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between our troops and terrorists, as a result of which six terrorists were killed,” the ISPR said, adding that a soldier was also injured during the operation.

The ISPR statement said a huge cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives were recovered during the operation.
