5.3-magnitude quake hits 79 km S of Panguna, Papua New Guinea- USGS

Beijing, May 27 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 79 km South of Panguna, Papua New Guinea at 0151 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 7.03 degrees south latitude and 155.54 degrees east longitude.
