Hanmakonda (Telangana), Dec 22 (UNI) In a devastating incident, four individuals lost their lives, and three others sustained serious injuries when the car they were traveling in collided with a lorry at Penchikalpet, Elkathrthi Mandal in this district in the early hours of Friday.
According to the police, the accident took place as the occupants of the car, close relatives, were en route from Eturunagaram to Vemulawada on a pilgrimage. The car suffered extensive damage in the collision.
The injured have been admitted to MGM Hospital for medical treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Kanthaiah (72), Memthena Shankar (60), Mamthena Bharat (29), and Memthena Memdana (16).
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, the police added.
