2 ganja smugglers caught, used to bring it from Odisha

Bhopal: The cases of drug smuggling are increasing in Madhya Pradesh and the police is also taking action to curb it. In this series, the Crime Branch in Bhopal has arrested two ganja smugglers and seized 5 kg of ganja from their possession. Police have registered a case against the accused and is taking further action.

Bhopal Crime Branch has arrested the smugglers from Mali Khedi Road, Bhanpur. Based on the information, the police took action and arrested the smugglers and recovered five kilos of ganja from their possession. The arrested accused include a farmer and a driver. It is being told that smugglers used to bring ganja from Odisha under the guise of farming and sell it in the rural areas of Bhopal.

Police have arrested Aman (22) son of Badan Singh Thakur resident of Bhopal and Rahul (22) son of Shankar Singh Rawat resident of Bhopal for smuggling ganja. At present, the police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPC Act and are interrogating the matter.
