Woman delivers child in ambulance

In Sukhi Sevaniya, a pregnant woman who was going to the hospital in an ambulance delivered the child enroute. After this, the mother and the child were admitted to the hospital. Both are healthy.

Reena, wife of Rajesh from village Kherayai Tapra, was being brought to the hospital in Bhopal in 108 ambulance. Then on the way near Chopra Kalan, Reena started feeling pain. On this, EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Dharmendra Dhaka had stopped the ambulance on the way and then got the safe delivery done with the help of Reena’s mother-in-law. The woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

Admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital

After delivery, the mother and the child were admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital. The weight of the new born girl is more than 2.8 kg. Senior Manager of 108 Ambulance Service, Tarun Singh Parihar said that the ambulance staff is capable of handling every type of emergency situation. Mother and daughter have been safely admitted to the hospital.
