Bhopal: Shivraj Singh Chouhan was warmly welcomed by the people and party members on his maiden visit to Bhopal after becoming a Union Minister. A grand road show was held to celebrate the former CM’s return to his hometown as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. A large number of people accorded warm welcome to ex-CM.
Shivraj, popularly known as Mama, has transitioned to a ministerial role at the Center. Despite his new responsibilities as a Union Minister, he continues to work in his familiar, down to earth style. Shivraj is renowned for his humble approach, which was evident once again on Sunday.
While traveling on the Shatabdi Express, he mingled with fellow passengers, showcasing his enduring popularity. He engaged in conversations with passengers, read newspapers, interacted with children, and even took selfies with them.
Chouhan commenced his journey from New Delhi aboard the Shatabdi Express, arriving in Bhopal in the afternoon to a reception by prominent dignitaries and party members at the railway station. From the railway station to his residence in the 74 Bunglow area of the city, a grand road show was organised which was attended by hundreds of people.
Shivraj and his wife Sadhana Singh traveled among the common people in the train from New Delhi to Bhopal. During this, a glimpse of his tremendous popularity was also seen. Union Minister Shivraj was welcomed at many places while travelling from Delhi to Bhopal.
